Meet the Doctor
Rinku Patel, O.D.
Dr. Patel received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University in SC and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2013. Dr. Patel has a passion for medical missions and has traveled to Mexico several times to provide comprehensive eye care to the underserved communities.
Dr. Patel has been practicing in Georgia since 2013, both in private practices and corporate offices. She's worked alongside ophthamologists, co-managing patient care with cataract surgeons and retina surgeons while in Savannah, GA.
Dr. Patel is bilingual and speaks fluent Gujarati & semi fluent Hindi. She enjoys all aspects of optometry from fitting contact lenses to managing ocular disease. She especially loves first time contact lens fitting for pediatric patients!
When not working, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, crafting and traveling!
